Custodian of Community

YOUR MISSION

To build the human fabric of a new cultural sport. As Custodian of Community, you ensure that everyone who encounters the Custodian Games — whether they step into an Arena, play a casual match with friends, or train through the Campus — feels they belong to something greater than themselves. You are not building an audience. You are weaving a tribe.

THE VISION

Within two decades, the Custodian Games will be played and lived by millions — from elite athletes competing in global Arena seasons to everyday people gathering on a Sunday afternoon to practice custodianship together. Like tennis has its grand slams and its hobbyists, the Custodian Games will have its champions and its communities — and both matter equally. Your work ensures that at every level, every player feels the thread connecting them to the whole.

THE ROLE

As Custodian of Community, you own the relational layer of the Custodian Games — everything that happens between the matches, beyond the scoreboards, and beneath the surface of the platform. Where the Custodian of Arena builds an extraordinary event, you ensure that everyone leaves feeling they are part of something that continues long after the match ends. You’ll build and steward local chapters across continents, cultivate the culture of the Campus, and develop the systems and rituals that turn participants into lifelong members of a global tribe. You work directly with the founder and core team to synchronize the community layer with the arena, media, and platform layers of the ecosystem.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD

The Athlete Network — The nucleus of the community. A globally distributed web of Custodian Games athletes who compete in Arena tournaments, embody the standard, and attract everyone else. You recruit them, develop them, and make them want to come back every season.

The Global Community — A living network of Custodians at every level: elite arena competitors, casual players, spectators, and supporters — all connected by a shared commitment to developing their custodial capacity.

Local Chapters — Community hubs in every Arena city that meet regularly between tournaments to play, connect, and practice across all four dimensions of custodianship — physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

The Campus Culture — The relational heartbeat of the online platform: onboarding journeys, community rituals, accountability structures, and the culture that makes the Campus feel like home.

Belonging Architecture — The systems, rituals, and touchpoints that ensure every Custodian — whether they compete once a year or every weekend — feels the thread connecting them to the whole.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • A natural community weaver — someone who instinctively builds belonging wherever they go.
  • Deep experience in community building, whether in sports, conscious entrepreneurship, cultural movements, or purpose-driven organizations.
  • Understands both the elite competitor and the passionate hobbyist — and knows how to make both feel at home in the same ecosystem.
  • Skilled at designing rituals, programs, and structures that sustain long-term engagement and deepen human connection.
  • Globally minded, with the cultural sensitivity to activate communities across continents while honoring local identity.
  • Personally committed to holistic development, actively training the four dimensions of custodianship: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

OUTCOMES

  • Build and steward the first cohort of Custodian Games athletes — recruited, activated, and returning for the next season.
  • Establish the community culture and rituals of the Campus — so that the platform feels alive, not just functional.
  • Ensure that every participant — from arena finalist to casual player — leaves every encounter with the Custodian Games feeling part of a tribe.
  • Build and activate the first network of local chapters in Custodian Games arena cities.
  • Build a community so alive and self-sustaining that it becomes one of the movement’s most powerful growth engines.

WHERE YOU’LL LIVE & BUILD

This is not a remote job. Six months in Bali. Six months in Europe. Every year.

In Bali, Robert Gladitz, our founder, is building CUSTODIA — a regenerative living and impact hub that serves as the ideal base to build the Custodian Games at. Bali is where the density of people already living at the intersection of consciousness and impact is unlike anywhere else on earth.

Europe is where the Games will grow fastest. The highest concentration of Custodian archetypes — impact entrepreneurs, conscious athletes, purpose-driven builders — lives within a few hours of each other across Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, and London. The majority of our Arenas will be hosted here. So we live here too, for half the year, embedded in the communities we’re activating.

The rhythm between the two isn’t a compromise. It’s the architecture — roots in Bali, expansion through Europe, with the founding tribe moving together between both.

We are building a small group of core co-creators who share not just a mission but a way of life — working together, training together, building something together that none of us could reach alone. Families are welcome. This is not a startup that asks you to sacrifice everything for the product. The product is the integrated life.

This is how we work in the founding phase, because you cannot build a movement around human development without actually practicing it together, in person. That changes as we scale. But right now, proximity is the method.

If you’ve spent years looking for a professional context that doesn’t make you choose between world-class work and actually living — this is that.
