As Custodian of Marketing, you take everything the Custodian Games produces — the content, the matches, the athletes, the movement — and architect the journey that turns a stranger into a follower, a follower into a Campus member, and a Campus member into a lifelong Custodian. You are not here to run ads. You are here to build a conversion machine worthy of the mission behind it.


THE VISION

Within two decades, the Custodian Games will be a globally recognized cultural movement. But movements don’t scale on inspiration alone — they scale on smart, elegant commercial infrastructure that meets the right people at the right moment with the right invitation. Your work ensures that the world doesn’t just watch the Custodian Games — it joins them.


THE ROLE

As Custodian of Marketing, you own the full commercial journey — from first touchpoint to paid membership and beyond. You’ll design and build the funnel architecture, email sequences, and conversion systems that turn the Media House’s output into sustainable revenue. You’ll identify and close brand partnerships with companies whose values and audiences align with the Custodian movement, and manage those relationships with the commercial rigor they require. You work directly with the founder and core team — and in close partnership with the Custodian of Media, who produces the creative — to ensure that every piece of content has a clear commercial pathway. You are the person who ensures the mission doesn’t just inspire — it sustains itself.


WHAT YOU’LL BUILD

The Conversion Funnel — The full customer journey from first encounter to Campus membership: top-of-funnel entry points, email sequences, onboarding flows, and the architecture that turns attention into revenue.

The Campus Growth Engine — The systems and campaigns that drive monthly membership growth, reduce churn, and identify upsell pathways for deeper engagement inside the ecosystem.

Brand Partnership Program — A commercial framework for aligning with brands whose values, aesthetics, and audiences fit the Custodian world — holistic health, conscious performance, sustainability, and impact.

Marketing Infrastructure — The tools, automations, CRM, and analytics stack that make the entire commercial operation measurable, scalable, and intelligent.

Distribution Strategy — Working alongside the Head of Media House to ensure every piece of content is deployed with commercial intent without sacrificing custodial values — the right platform, the right call to action, the right moment.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • A growth builder with a strategic mind and a commercial instinct — equally at home in a spreadsheet and a sales call.
  • Deep experience in online marketing, funnel architecture, and conversion optimization — ideally in a subscription or membership model.
  • Proven track record closing brand partnerships or sponsorship deals with values-aligned companies.
  • Fluent in marketing automation, CRM systems, and performance analytics.
  • Understands the Custodian audience intuitively — impact-driven, high-performing, skeptical of hype, hungry for depth.
  • Balances data-driven precision with genuine respect for the integrity and aesthetic of the movement.
  • Personally committed to holistic development, actively training the four dimensions of custodianship: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

WHERE YOU’LL LIVE & BUILD

This is not a remote job. Six months in Bali. Six months in Europe. Every year.

In Bali, Robert Gladitz, our founder, is building CUSTODIA — a regenerative living and impact hub that serves as the ideal base to build the Custodian Games at. Bali is where the density of people already living at the intersection of consciousness and impact is unlike anywhere else on earth.

Europe is where the Games will grow fastest. The highest concentration of Custodian archetypes — impact entrepreneurs, conscious athletes, purpose-driven builders — lives within a few hours of each other across Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, and London. The majority of our Arenas will be hosted here. So we live here too, for half the year, embedded in the communities we’re activating.

The rhythm between the two isn’t a compromise. It’s the architecture — roots in Bali, expansion through Europe, with the founding tribe moving together between both.

We are building a small group of core co-creators who share not just a mission but a way of life — working together, training together, building something together that none of us could reach alone. Families are welcome. This is not a startup that asks you to sacrifice everything for the product. The product is the integrated life.

This is how we work in the founding phase, because you cannot build a movement around human development without actually practicing it together, in person. That changes as we scale. But right now, proximity is the method.
